Born and raised in Coconut Grove, FL by poets, musicians, artists, madmen, and various travelling troubadours...Maisy is no stranger to creative self-expression.
Mostly self-taught, she has dabbled in everything from poetry, collage-work, and painting. Settling on the latter two forms with very little seriousness.
Currently, Maisy is focused on getting her art out into the world and participating in as many events as possible. In addition to her submissions for Paper Girl, she is also working very loosely with some friends from Texas, Indiana, and Tennessee on two travelling art journals.
Maisy Marrs lives in Florida with a handful of tropical fish, and a young cat that is a handful.
Pieces currently for sale are available through Art Fire.
